Courtney + Rob {Engagements} Temple, TX Portrait Photography

Nathan & I met Courtney & Rob in college so it was a lot of fun to be able to take their engagement photos. I met up with them for their session in Belton, TX --- the place where it all begin!  After our stop in downtown, we headed over to the Belton Dam to explore the trails.  These two really enjoy the outdoors and working out together --- so much so that Rob actually proposed while they were trail walking.  I loved hearing them retell their proposal story and seeing them relive that day.  Congrats to you both!

Happy 30th Anniversary!

On Sunday my wonderful parents will celebrate their 30th Anniversary! A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of doing a session with them!  It was an absolute joy to photograph them---they make me so proud! Proud because they look FANTASTIC and so youthful---can you believe they are grandparents?! Proud because even after 30 years they are still giddy, full of laughter & so evidently in love.  Proud because they live to serve and all who know them have been impacted by their walk with the Lord.  So maybe proud is an understatement...either way I can only pray that one day Nathan & I will share the love that they still have after 30 years of marriage. 

The thing I loved about their session was that I really didn't have to do anything but stand by and keep snapping each moment as it came.  Whether that was my Dad's infamous "laugh so hard he cries" or my Mom simply putting up with the goofball he is---either way it was reality!

Yeah...this is that reality thing I was talking about ;)

I know my Mom is going to want to kill me for putting this on here but I just couldn't help it.   Isn't she just adorable?!  I'm pretty sure she is one of the main reasons my husband married me--he saw I had good genes ;)

Bridals {Brittany}

A little while back I introduced you to Brittany & her fiance, Ryan after their engagement session in August.  After much anticipation these two finally tied the knot this afternoon out at Camp Tejas.  It was a beautiful day & they couldn't have picked a more perfect place to celebrate their wedding day than the very place their story began. After being a part of their special day, all I can say is Ryan is one lucky man because Brittany was an absolutely stunning bride! See for yourself!

The Anderson's {Family Session}

I can honestly say one of my favorite parts of photography is going through each family’s session and viewing all the photos for the first time.  The Anderson’s Family session surpassed my love for any other session I have done (no offense to my other clients).  I literally laughed and had a huge grin on my face the entire time!  Interestingly enough, I think this is a perfect testimony of who this family is.  Their love for the Lord & for each other is evident to all who know them.  While they are all wonderful, I’ve got to point out that their sweet mom, Jackie, is by far one other most encouraging, positive and uplifting people I have met.  Her light shines brightly no matter the circumstance and she is definitely one of those people that is always a joy to be around.   With that said, hopefully I have done my job & you can see all of the above mentioned things communicated through their photos.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
